Howfen Solo Paws was created with one simple belief — every dog deserves to feel safe, happy and cared for.
Based in Westhoughton, Howfen Solo Paws offers exclusively private, one-to-one dog walking, giving your dog complete attention throughout their walk.
Whether your dog enjoys exploring, sniffing every interesting spot or taking life at a gentler pace, every walk is tailored to them.
And the name? “Howfen” is the local nickname for Westhoughton — home for us, and for every dog we walk.

I started Howfen Solo Paws because I believe a walk should be all about the dog. Without a group to manage, I can give your dog my full attention — going at their pace, giving them time to sniff and explore, and getting to know exactly what makes them happy.
Whether your dog is young and full of beans, a little nervous, or enjoying their golden years, I'll look after them the way I'd want my own dogs looked after.
